In japanese the other day we were cutting Koi (for boys day) and a girl in my class (of 8) says," my fish looks GAY!" I 'm very sensitive about people using the word gay in ways it's not to be used (because most of my relatives and some of my adult friends are gay) so I say to her," please don't make fun of gay people, it's not very nice." the room goes silent and another girl (a different girl from the first one)says," I went to a gay raly." I'm thinking thats great! shes supporting them!!! (because they are trying to pass a bill here that will allow gay marrage) a friend of my (who also supports the GTLB community a.k.a the it man) asks her," were you supporting them or were you against them?" she answers," against them." she said it so blankly...with no feeling at all.... I was shocked! shes the same age as me!!!!
any way I say," you have every right to be against them but may I just ask why?" she answers," because I'm christian and in the bible it says homosexuality is a sin, I think that being gay is gross, how can you fall in love with the same gender?" I was pissed. ( she has hurt me in the past and we r not very good friends..neither is It man and her) It man then says," love has no gender." I agreed with her and the conversation was over.
